  I've attended this church since 1999, when I first started taking my 4 year old son to Sunday school. From the start, people have been friendly and welcoming. Church members come from Depoe Bay, Waldport, Toledo and even Newport! Also, you can expect to meet visitors from out of the area such as Florida, Arizona, California and Canada. Attire is casual. I rarely see a suit and tie, but if you want to wear one...that's Ok. Sunday school classes start at 9:45 am with classes available for all ages. It's a good time to fellowship and learn about the Bible and how it applies to our lives. Church service starts at 10:45 am. There are classes for youth during this time. The church band plays a mix of traditional and contemporary. The band's motto: Be Bold and Be Joyful! And that they do. Expect to hear a spirited sermon from our pastor, Reed, who weaves humor, enthusiasm, and Biblical knowledge into the message. Communion is celebrated each week with a spirit of gratitude. Everyone needs a family and in my opinion, this is a good place to find one. By the way, I'm the bass player in the church band.
